Term of use
The terms “we”, “us”, “our/s” refer to GCT, the terms “you”, “your”, “yours” refer to the users of this website.
All rates displayed on our Website are inclusive of all charges for the ENTIRE SERVICE and for the REQUEST, as specified in the search criteria input by you (but which does not refer to the number of persons or days) unless otherwise stated in our comments e.g. resort / facility fees. All prices include service and local taxes/VAT to the extent that such taxes apply as of the booking date. If such taxes/VAT apply after the booking is made for the Customer, then the Customer will be charged for any differences that may arise. Breakfast and/or other meals are not included unless otherwise stated. Some hotels/travel suppliers/authorities may charge additional local taxes, which are payable on a real time basis.
The applicable currency is shown on every page of the “hotels” section lists.
Any vouchers you receive from us will entitle a Customer to use the pre-paid Services, as specified in the voucher in terms of a particular hotel/Service, period of stay and type of Services. All and any extras/alterations to the above are at your sole discretion, and any additional charges, such as but not limited to, phone bills, laundry, room service, insurance and/or upgrades will be settled by a Customer directly with hotel/Service provider on a real time basis.
Hotel information appearing on our pages is strictly as provided by the hotels themselves, and/or the travel suppliers, and/or other official international sources and we are not liable for any omissions, errors, or correctness of any part thereto. Hotel ratings, information, maps, and images displayed on this website are intended as a guideline only and are not binding upon us in any respect.
Guest rooms are allocated by hotels upon check-in at the hotels’ sole discretion. Special requests such as non-smoking rooms, adjoining or interconnecting rooms, high or low floors etc., will be forwarded by us to the hotel/travel agent but cannot be guaranteed.
In most hotels normal check-in time is 14:00 hours and check-out time is until noon (12:00).
Late arrival hotels must keep the rooms booked for you until 6:00 p.m. local time on the day of arrival. If the Customer arrives to the hotel after this hour, he/she must advise you at the time of booking by providing the estimated arrival time. Should the Customer fail to do so, the hotel has the right to resell the room, and might not be able to accommodate the Customer when he/she arrives. Providing us with the “late arrival” information regarding the Customer is your solely responsibility, and we will not be held liable for any problems or liability arising out of the Customer’s failure to do so. This policy also applies to any facilities or properties having limited front desk working hours.
Please be aware that hotels are under renovation from time to time. Hotels take all possible steps to limit disruption to their guests. Assuming that renovations were disclosed at time of booking, we will not accept complaints, or requests for refunds, if a hotel is carrying out renovations while a guest is resident there.
Room types – the number/type of beds is subjected to the description/definition of the room.
For your attention! Hotels may have the right to accommodate more than 2 guests in a room with 1 double/king’s sized bed.
The room types are: SINGLE (rooms with one single bed); DOUBLE (rooms with one double or two separate single beds); TRIPLE /accommodating 3/ & QUAD /accommodating 4/ – may consist of twin or double bed/s/ plus an extra bed or two double beds. Extra beds are usually in the form of a “roll away” and not full size.
If an extra bed is not mentioned in room’s description, we cannot be held responsible for not providing it. The option to add an extra bed may incur extra charges to be paid at the hotel.
In some hotels, NO additional bed is provided for a child where the child is not subject to any charges or at a reduced price. The sharing twin/dbl room by a child with adults and breakfast may be charged for a child on departure.
Contracts with hotels are based on our agents selling to the leisure market. Should any guest on arrival be found to be a corporate client, then the hotel/Service provider has every right to waive the agent’s booking and charge the guest direct at the full rack rate. We cannot accept any responsibility if the Customer/you have a “corporate rate” agreement with the particular hotel/chain, and the hotel/Service provider refuses to honor our booking.
Any important information such as taxes, facility/resort fees and front desk limited working hours may be displayed in a booking’s remarks, the information provided by the hotel, or both. Accordingly, where the hotel information is received from a specific source for the booking, it is your responsibility to be fully updated and to fully inform your Customer s accordingly as to any important information.
GCT will not be held responsible for any fees incurred, or for transmitting any important information that appears in the booking remarks and/or in the information provided by the hotel.
Complaints must be reported to the hotel/Service provider on a real time basis. We will not be liable for any compensation for a problem which could have been rectified during the Customer’s stay, had the hotel/Service provider been made aware of it.
Dynamic rates and inventory – as we also distribute dynamic inventory (connected directly to the hotel CRSs, where they perform current revenue management), for client who have opted to cancel their bookings upon or subsequent to cancellation deadlines, then the rates might be increased, and rooms might no longer be available for the period between when the booking is made on our system and your reconfirmation to us to release the booking to the customer.
Transfers and/or Transportation Services shall mean one or more of the following:
- Meeting of the Customer at the address of pick up point with the signage specified in the Order.
- Assistance in the delivery and arrangement of the luggage of the Customer (if necessary).
- Approval of the itinerary of the transfer from the pick-up point to the drop off point as specified in the booking Order via an optimal route.
The timeframe for free waiting for the final Customer (passenger), under the accepted Order, shall be no later then 20 minutes after the arrival of the train, 15 minutes from pick up time at the Hotel or from a specific address location within the city and 1 hour after the arrival of domestic/International flights.
After the expiration of the applicable timeframe and failure of the passenger to appear, the order shall be deemed fulfilled, and the Services shall be deemed rendered without compensation of the order cost to the Customer, provided that supplier can demonstrate that it reasonably attempted to establish contact with the passenger to verify his/her whereabouts and establish whether or not he/she will show up using the contact details so provided by Customer
Reservation of motor vehicles for the Customer in accordance with the Customer’s order and requirements, including the size of vehicle, type (if applicable), number of seats and the like, and include and cover all possible road tolls, bridge tolls, airport tolls, parking fees, baggage fees, petrol, insurance, driver gratuity and all taxes.
During the ride, the driver will attend to the passenger’s requests, driving at a reasonable speed, and operating/shutting off the A/C system.
Cancellations, Amendments, Claims, Service Provision Limitations
In the event that you make any alteration to your booking (including, but not limited to, cancellations, refunds, amendments and name changes), then we reserve the right to charge you a fee of EUR 15 per person to cover the administration costs incurred. This charge does not include any additional charges imposed by the agent or supplier or Service provider or hotel. Any credit card, booking, and any other fees paid for delivery of paper tickets and documents are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Cancellation deadlines apply for each particular booking request and depend on several factors including the Service type, the agent or supplier or Service provider and dates of travel. The cancellation deadline will be provided with the booking confirmation, except as detailed in special cancellation alterations, in which case, it will be provided by us at the time of the notice received from the hotel, the agent, supplier or Service provider. If the Customer cancels after the current deadline, or fails to show up at the hotel/Service provision point (“no-show”), then the Customer will be charged 100% of the total amount booked,and in which case the hotel has the right to charge the reservation in full, and is not obligated to provide any notification of this at any stage.
We will do our best to avoid cancellation charges and will only charge you if a hotel charges us.
All and any cancellation or amendment requests must be made in writing, preferably online on the Website. We will not process any of your requests made by phone, and the original status of the bookings will be deemed accurate and applicable for all purposes, including charges and the Customer’s payment obligations.
If a hotel is overbooked, then it will offer alternative accommodation for the Customer. We will advise you immediately, upon receipt of such notice from the hotel/supplier, and you will be free to accept or decline and cancel the reservation with us within 24 hours. We will bear no further liability towards yourselves and/or other co-travelling Customers . Should the Customer wish to re-book a different hotel of facility at a higher price, then, he/she will be liable for the additional costs.
Any amendments or cancellations of bookings must be made directly through us and NOT the hotel, the agent, supplier or any other Service provider. Should you fail to comply with this, then, full charges will apply for the Services booked through us, and regardless of your direct dealings with the hotel, the agent or Service provider.
We will not accept any direct communication, correspondence or instructions from the third parties and in all such cases any sub-agent/ Customer will be immediately referred to their booking agent.
If the Customer decides to shorten/partially cancel Services while during the time when he/she is already using them (for example: shorten the hotel stay and leave earlier than booked), then it is strongly recommended that he/she will obtain a written consent from an authorized representative of the hotel/Service provider that they will not be charging for the unused part of the Services. This will facilitate our claim to obtain a refund on the Customer’s behalf. In the absence of such a document, we will not be able to guarantee any refunds, and the full cost of such Services as paid or payable to us will continue in effect. All extensions and extra Services, filling outside of the scope of the original vouchers provided by us, will be handled and paid for by the Customer directly on a real time basis, and we will not be held liable in any way for such dealings, which are fully at the Customer’s sole discretion.
Notwithstanding the above, all and any refunds must be first confirmed by the hotel, and we will not be able to refund you if we do not receive a refund from the hotel for any reason whatsoever.
During certain periods e.g., high season period, carnivals, fairs, etc. any change (include name and date) is subject to the hotel’s approval.
Unless you have a special payments agreement with us, all bookings must be prepaid upon arrival. See the sales conditions.
Before payment is received in full, we or the agent or travel supplier are not under any obligation to issue any tickets, confirmations, vouchers, or other travel documents. However, you will in all cases remain liable for payment of the amounts for the travel products and Services ordered and booked.
If your credit card is declined, we will make every effort to contact you. Finally, if you are unable to fulfill the required payment, then your booking will be cancelled in accordance with the cancellation deadline terms.
We may, at our own discretion use the Services of any other affiliate in the Go Global Travel Group to process any and all payments due us.
We act only as an intermediary in making arrangements for hotels, transportation or any other travel Services and do not assume any responsibility for the Services provided by the final travel supplier/Service provider and make no representations or warranties (express or implied) as to the suitability or quality of travel Services featured on this Website.
GCT accepts no liability or further responsibility whatsoever in relation to any Packaged Reservations
Information, software, Services presented on this website may include inaccuracies or typographical errors.
We do not make any guarantee or representation as to the accuracy or proprietary nature of site content, and disclaim any liability for any inaccuracies relating to the information and description of all products displayed on this website. Hotel ratings displayed on this website are unofficial and intended as a guideline only. We, our affiliates and suppliers do not guarantee the accuracy of the ratings. All Services and products presented on this website are supplied by Independent contractors/travel suppliers/Service providers who are not agents or employees of the Operator. We provide on all our interfaces, XML interfaces inclusive, important remarks relating among others to the hotel property and/or Services, e.g. renovations, minimum age at check-in and voucher presentation obligatory conditions. It is your sole responsibility to communicate all such information to your Customers and we will not accept any claims resulting from your failure to do so.
We are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any such suppliers or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting there from. We have no liability and will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure, or other causes beyond us direct control, and we have no responsibility for any additional expense, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority. We make no representations as to the suitability of site content for any purpose, and the inclusion or offering for sale of any products or Services on this website does not constitute any endorsement or recommendation. All site content and Services are provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind. We and our suppliers and Service providers hereby disclaim all warranties and conditions with regard to site content, products, and Services, including all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. You waive and covenant not to assert any claims or allegations of any nature relating to any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, the use of this web site or with the delay or inability to use this web site, or for any information, software, products, and Services obtained through this website, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of damages.
We shall not be in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or liable to you due to our failure, delay or inability to fulfil any booking or performance of any obligation under these Terms and Conditions by reason of, including but not limited to, any fire, earthquake, flood, substantial snowstorm, epidemic, explosion, strikes, riot, civil disturbance, war, act of God, any failure or delay of any transportation, power or communications system, non-performance by suppliers or subcontractors or any similar events which are beyond our control.
We act only as an intermediary in making arrangements for hotels, transportation or any other travel Services. As such we are not liable for any force majeure, personal injury, death, illness, property damage or other loss or expense of any nature arising directly or indirectly arising out of any actions taken by a hotel, airline, transportation company, or any other person or company providing or rendering Services reserved through us.
You agree to defend and indemnify us and/or our suppliers and Service providers and any of their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought by third parties as a result of your breach of these Web Site Terms, Conditions and Notices or the documents referenced herein, your violation of any law or the rights of a third party or your use of this Website.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU OBTAIN ADAQUATE INSURANCE FOR ANY TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS MADE BY YOU.
We reserve the right to change or update the Terms and Conditions relating to use of the Website from time to time without prior notice to users, and such amended Terms and Conditions will apply to future bookings. The current version of the Terms and Conditions will be displayed within the Website from the date on which any changes come into effect. Continued use of the Website following any changes to the Terms and Conditions shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
